KATE MOSS has catwalked out of PETE DOHERTY’s life to find her Mr Right, I can exclusively reveal.Desperate Kate has told the BABYSHAMBLES frontman that she is NOT in love with him and just wants to be friends.
And after breaking the news to her junkie ex this week, Kate jetted off to Dubai with daughter Lila Grace.
My source close to the Croydon-born beauty told me: “Kate told Pete that there’s no chance of marriage or kids.
“She laid her cards on the table and Pete flipped. He doesn’t want it to end—he’s so in love with Kate.”
I’m told Kate considered the break-up carefully and realised it would be best for her daughter and her family if she drew a line under their romance.
But Pete was so cut up he even tried to get his mum Jackie to change Kate’s mind.
My source added: “Pete phoned his mum in tears. He was inconsolable as he cried down the phone—he really thought they would get married soon.
“So Jackie called Kate and begged her to stand by Pete in his battle with drugs. She warned Kate that if she left him now, Pete could end up dead.
“Her argument was that Kate is the only person who’s really trying to help Pete kick hard drugs.
“Jackie told Kate that without her and her arrangements for rehab, her contacts and her caring nature, Pete will sink into total chaos.”
Kate assured Jackie that she still wants to help Pete beat drugs—but not as his girlfriend. She explained that at 33 she needed to free herself from him to find the right man.
It looks like this really is the end of the Kate and Pete show.
